Background of Company Establishment
The “Compass to Healthy Life” Research Complex program proposed by RIKEN as the core organization, together with Hyogo Prefecture, the city of Kobe, Kyoto University, Kobe University, the University of Hyogo and 9 other universities and research institutions, and Hankyu Hanshin Holdings and 30 other private enterprises and organizations, was accepted under the Research Complex program launched by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) in 2015..
Under this “Compass to Healthy Life” Research Complex program, as a program director, Prof. Watanabe (RIKEN) successfully developed the Health Functions Quotient® which can be used to quantify and evaluate individual comprehensive health degree before illness.
We, 6 board members established Integrated Health Science Co. Ltd. in 2023 to contribute to individual health maximization by adapting Health Functions Quotient® widely to several healthcare products/solutions.
